BIOGRAPHY:

Rudy Pedro Montes de Oca Rosas is an associate at the law firm Aguirre, Quintanilla, Soria & Nishizawa, with a practice focused on administrative, civil, commercial, corporate, banking, mining, and regulatory law.

Before joining BAQSN, he worked as a legal advisor for companies in the mining and technology sectors. He held positions in the legal department of the National Hydrocarbons Agency, reviewing and drafting contracts, administrative resolutions, and sanctioning and regulatory processes for the hydrocarbon sector. He also had experience in financial institutions, drafting and reviewing contracts and guarantees, and issuing legal opinions on banking matters, as well as on ASFI regulations.

He was a member of the Drafting Committee for the Preliminary Bill No. 453 on the Defense of the Rights of Users and Consumers.

He is a lawyer, having graduated from the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo,” and has postgraduate training in Banking Law and Environmental Law.
