Mariel is a member of the law firm Aguirre, Quintanilla, Soria & Nishizawa, where she serves as a specialist in the area of intellectual property. She has over 20 years of experience handling trademark and patent registration and maintenance applications, as well as opposition, cancellation, and invalidation proceedings before the National Intellectual Property Office (SENAPI).

For 15 years, Mariel has been part of one of Bolivia’s largest boutique law firms, serving domestic and international clients by advising them on the comprehensive management of their portfolios.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of the Law Program at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
• Certificate in Law and Intellectual Property – Universidad de Los Andes (UNANDES).
