Ministerial Resolution No. 1444/2023 of December 26, 2023
“General Regulation of Labor Inspections”

Through Ministerial Resolution No. 1444/2023 of the Labor, Employment and Social Welfare Ministry, of December 26, 2023, the General Regulation of Labor Inspection is approved in its 13 chapters, 47 articles, and 1 additional single provision. As to date, the text of the Regulation has not been published in the webpage of the Ministry.

Also, the Resolution provides:

• The Scale of Fines for Infringement of Labor Laws, revocating article 12 of Ministerial Resolution No. 855/14 of December 11, 2014.
• Within a period of 90 calendar days the General Director of Labor, Hygiene, and Occupational Safety shall issue the Tools and Inspection Manuals for the implementation of the Regulation and its dissemination within a period of 90 calendar days.
• The total revocation of Ministerial Resolution No. 346/87 of November 26, 1987 (prior Regulation of Labro Inspections).

The Resolution will enter into force as of Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
